These are examples of different times of day comparing a new sun texture set and configuration showing with and without light bloom. If you notice, those who can not run bloom will have a nice upgrade which respond dynamically to cloud cover, humidity and time of day factors and includes god-rays


The top image has no light bloom, the lower matching image has light bloom enabled
