First leg was Detroit to Nagoya.
About 4:15 PM we are heavy and ready for takeoff. Packing a little extra fuel to combat a strong headwind that is expected the first 4 hours of the flight.

Crawling out of DTW.

Still climbing after a small bank to intercept our route.

12.4 hours later we make our way into Nagoya, Chubu.

Touchdown, glad to be on land again.

And finally pulling up to the gate after 12.6 hours. From here I will hop up to Tokyo, Narita. From there its to Hong Kong before finally making the last hop into Tao-Yuan.

8-)

Start long hauls before I go to work, with the FTG ACARS I can set it to pause about 250-300 miles out and then I land when I get home
Or sometimes I get home and still a couple hours out. Makes it nice to keep my tradition of all VA flights done in real time 8-)
But will hopefully be getting a new LCD by Christmas. Then we shall see what I can really do
