#1 is great, I like it a lot. :)

#2 the ocean seems a bit plain and flat, but the clouds are beautiful.

#3 is Great all around... except for that eye-repelling white pillar. (A.K.A. lightning) It doesn't seem to fit, the scene lighting is a little too light for a T-storm IMHO. Maybe it's just personal taste that I don't like noontime lightning? :-/

Very good in general, as expected. ;)

The coastline in 3 kinda wrecks it for me. 1 & 2 have impressive clouds the water isn't that bad I always like h20 shots from a higher altitude though.

Ranger! Those were taken at 5pm, not Noontime! lol >:( 8-)

Lightning is such a pain to capture, but Ill get the perfect lightning shot soon enough, thanks to my cat-like reflexes. ;D

Please forgive my... innacurate estimate. ::)

IMHO, if you want the perfect lightning shot, make the lightning the focus and give it a nice backdrop so we can gauge the size. That shot seems too flat for lightning.

True, you really cant gauge the distance in the above. Lightning chasing is very frustrating lol.

I was flying a 777 at KSEA at night with t-storms and there was 2 huge lightning bolts per second!

Well, the quantity of the lightning isnt the issue, its facing the right direction at the right time and catching it on time. Those darn things last about 1/3 of a second. :( :o 8-)

Nice work Jack! Those clouds are gorgeous ... but indeed the lightning is a little distracting.

If you want you lightning to last longer try replacing the effect with this one.
And try these textures for nice graphics ;)
