Sweet!  I might have to check that out, is it as big as FS?  (map being world wide?)

I saw this in GAME the other day ........... must go get it. It will be an improvement on 2006 which got boring after a few missions.

Thank goodness it's not from Microsoft. The water would be like FSX at 2x, very unrealistic.

ACtualy, the water in FSX is that surreal.

Yea, ship simulator 2008 has nothing to do with Microsoft. It was developed by a Dutch company.
And you can haul cargo across the ocean in the newer version but not the whole world is represented like in FSX... yet. There are several ports where you can roam or do some missions.
