This only happens in USA

Has anyone had this happen.
I'm flying along happily at 3200 feet in a wee cessna cardinal (or any bird) and suddenly all goes white
The scenery is still there, but veiled in a thin  mist.
It only happens to me when I fly in the USA. these were taken over north carolina fayetteville regional

It's not clouds, it happens all of a sudden. usually around 25 minutes into a flight

I actually live here in Fayetteville,NC! I thought I was the only one in the Sim community that flew around here. This place will suck the life out of just about anything! We refer to are town as Fayettenam! Welcome to my DZ buddy! Nice shots! I can see my house from here

That Carolina fog usually burns off 'round 10AM, like clockwork (turns head and spits).
