A bad day for flying......

Thought I'd try out real world weather as I've never used it before......... All was fine upon leaving Heathrow, but Paris had bad weather that day  :'(
Turns out I picked a bad day for flying into De Gaulle Airport  :'(


Upon starting approach into De Gaulle, I suddenly became fogged in:





Visibility Seemed a bit better at around 500 feet before touch down:



Suddenly upon touchdown, I was struck by a 45 knot crosswind - Made for an eventful landing on one wheel

That looks great, where can i get that plane?

Love the shots! Reminds me of a recent landing, in wich i couldnt get local weather information, so i had to monitor it with shift-Z,  and it turned from a left into a right crosswind as i decended along the ILS, pretty cool!.

good lord...nice save on the landing!  Reminds me of the nice little nose wheel landing I did in the shamoo 737 last week cause of the crosswind at the Minimum...lol
