Beg pardon? I'm a newbie, what's an 'MP session'? ;D

My fault I don't know, and I humbly apologize. :-[

An MP session is Multi-Player or flying online with others. Great fun 8-)
If you're really into Spits I'd suggest the RealAir Spitfire XIV, she is the best Spit bar none (okay yes it is payware) for FS and the XVI by Plane Design (another payware one) ,the most flown aircraft in my hangar, as must haves! On the freeware front we've got some nice ones here and the Paul Rebuffat and YAS CFS2 models work pretty well in FS ;)

Ozzy (Spitfire guru) :)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I can imagine that would be fun...

Thanks for the recommendations. I do prefer earlier marks of spitfire, but that's not to say there are some variants I dislike - I love them all!!

Trouble is, I'm not completely sure how to join a multiplayer session - none ever show up on my FS2004 multiplayer screen. HELP!! I'd really love to be able to do multiplayer!

EDIT; Could you post some links to those spits you were talking about?

To join Sams SimV MP server;

Go to muliplayer window
type in ip....85.10.244.109
Click search for sessions
select the simv session (It should come up in the box on the left)
Select Join :)

There we go :)

Just make sure if you are using a Router your ports are open and keep in mind that other people need to have the same plane to see it.

For loads of info, especially on the Port side of things go to the very bottom of the SimV Forums to the Multiplayer section.

Hope to see you online :)
