Nice shots - welcome to the forums!!

Congratulations on actually following the rules in a first time post!   ;) :D

For optimising quality with five shots or less, why not try to get the 'weight' of the shot as close to 97 kb as you can in Irfanview or PS.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments! Glad to be getting positive feedback.

But I wonder; how do I get the file size up without changing the size of the screenshot itself? I used paint shop pro to resize these. Should I be using something else?
Also, one more question (sorry, I have kind of a lot to learn.) When I post my next shots, should I make a new topic or post them in this one?

Thanks!

I use MS Paint.  I shrink htem to 75 % (Im running a 1024 x 768 so it resizes to just under 800 x 600) and save as JPG.  Your next shots should probably be in a new thred.

PSP is fine. Not sure which version you're using but they should all have similar features.. After resizing your shot click 'File/Save As' & select the JPEG format. Then click the Options button & click Run Optimizer. You can then adjust the file size of each individual image to the size you want before saving it. You will find that the compression value can vary considerably depending on the content of the image.

Thanks! PSP was a bit different from the way you described it, but I found a way to adjust image size/quality, and it works perfectly! I have to fiddle with it a bit, but in the end it does fine.
Also, when I post more shots I'll remember to make a new thread.

Thanks for all your help everyone.

I like them a lot! That mustang shot is amazing! What a way to make a first impression! Welcome to this nuthouse forums!  ;D

As for the resizing, you should consider irfanview. I like that one a lot.

Cheers.
