New rig, new FSX...

Postby Splat762 » Sun May 06, 2007 10:11 pm

Got my new rig set up with FSX...running Duel Core E6600 2.4ghz and a eVGA 640MB 8800GTS.  Only 1GB of RAM because the new rig showed up a bad stick for the other 1GB, so I'll be short until I get a new one from the builder.

Running all settings on High or Ultra High and getting 40-50 away from Seattle (my test area) and around 12-20 over Seattle.  A big set up from 9 FPS on my old system.  ;D

That is looking good!  :)
Maybe some playing around with textures and settings can still be done,
although that is probably for the future as I feel there is a little bit
of a drought of quality FSX add-ons to date.
Enjoy the new rig!  :)

Thanks guys....yup, still some tweaking to do to get the most of the rig and FSX but I'm going to wait until I get the replacement RAM so I can get back up to 2GB of mem.  I'm very happy with they way she is running right now.

Monkey, system is build by a company called Cyberpower....system was pretty well built, except for the bad RAM stick.

Oh and Brett...yeah I know I was on the brakes, I forgot to unbind that key in the controls as I use it for my screenshot button...LOL.  ;D
