If you're REALLY old (like Fozzer or me) then you'll recognise this. My first flight sim ;)

Big jump between FS98 and FS2000, right? I only saw FS2000 in action, FS8 was my first sim. I didn't have a computer until 2001. I was 29.   :D

What's the story between the fractured nightmare in the second pic? Bird strike in the windshield?

Yeah, great jump. More or less the same jump there has been from FS9 and "the cross", under TOO MANY points of view to be easily explained here. [smiley=evil.gif]

The "fractured nightmare", as you call it, is the way FS98 tells you you've crashed. :P

FS98 is still a myth. Have it installed and even use it from time to time. For VFR is rather poor, but still good if you only plan to do some IFR. :)

There's but one real cure for human stupidity. It's called DEATH.

I've just remembered something which tells me I might be able to beat you on that... not on continuous simming - started about 2004, but the first flight sim I played (just once  ;D) was on a ZX81... :D My friends already had Spectrum 16k - God I was envious...setting the pattern for the rest of my life  ;D
