And is good to keep it to ourselves ,especialy when we are devoted to a freeware because is not easy to make this little things you know! ,I know that Mike is not a profesional ,But BOY he's one of the greatest designers and consider this ,he has work for free to give us FREE his work That's more than a profesional , that's being sacrifice for some people who just criticize him, let's have a little more apresiations to all of those (EXEPT ME!!) who makes aircraft ,scenerys, to release it for free ,and lets send them in that READ me file Usualy is thei EMAIL..send them a letter ,and email of gratitude ,If you have a add-on and you use it sometimes,and you like it ,send him or them a letter and tell them Thank you ...that's the best paid to these people..

Some of his aircraft made for nice AI planes, but it always bugged me that he didn't include VCs.

That was his choice & he always made it quite clear on his website. This is Freeware. It costs nothing & with developers like Mike you always know what to expect. Nobody forces anyone to use it. If you don't like it don't download it but please don't complain about it. ::)

Maybe now someone could make a memorial video with some of the models he's made, put it on youtube or somewhere, and email him the link. This probably won't change his mind, just let him realized that some of us still care...

Good idea, I'm on it.

I personaly think that as a designer you should be able to handle critiques. Its something you will also hear, and yeah, im a VC flyer, but i appreciated what he did for all those people that like it. So its not a complain, more a comment. But, when people get offensive on such matters then it start to worry me...

:( I am truly saddened by this. Mike Stones has made my simming experience all the way GREAT. I have downloaded all of his planes. The only one I have a bit of a problem with is the Cat 136. I can't gte the gauges to show. Otherwise the finishings, I believe is of a HIGH standard to me.  :o

I hope he will return one day to show us what he has been upto whilst he is away.

THANKS AGAIN MIKE STONE.  :'( :-/ ::) :)

Mike Stones earlier models weren't that great, but like fine wine he became very skill full at aircraft design. People who would insult his work have no real appreciation for the community freeware designers. They should keep their comments to themselves if they can't do any better! Back in the days of FS2002 I tried my hand at aircraft design and gave up on it way to early. I passed my beta designs in hopes that it would inspire someone to take it to the next level. To this day I still feel the Dino "F14" may have been inspired by some of my work. But still lack of time is why I gave it up.

Mike once said on his website that he doesn't care what people say about his creations because he builds them for his pleasure and he just shares them with the community. That right there is the inspiration that should keep him building aircrafts because it is his hobby and he does it from himself! So if Mike ever reads this hear this

Don't give up your passion because of a few immature punks that can't build a flying box to much less critic your work.  If you do decide to create aircrafts for yourself that is just ok, because you should only share your work with people that respect your work! These critics don't know the hours it takes to design an aircraft. From molding the parts from basic 3d Shapes, to the animation of moving parts, custom sound files, and finely adding the texture to the final project. I am cool with your giving up on us because some don't respect your work. But don't give up your passion!
I am whatever you say I am 1 :P
