In this thread, http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 4163/15#15 , I asked you how you achieved your framerates and this is what you responded:

ingame baby ;)
Getting around 25-30 fps without nvidia ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D..............sorry ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I gave up on nvidia because like UHT milk it's SHITE!!!!

So I did some comparison of your 'Leaving Vancouver' shots with mine. After reviewing your screenshots ,I've come to my own conclusion that you have everything maxed except for Very Dense Scenery.

I've highlighted my FPS in case you have trouble reading it. Notice my computer specs compared to yours. Also notice I didn't even break the teens yet alone average 25 - 30 fps like you say you do.

Now, my friend, I ask you how are you averaging 25 - 30 FPS with these settings especially with only 1 gig of ram (compared to my 2 gigs) when we all know FSX (like BF2) runs optimal with at least 2 gigs?

Your x1950 Pro is 600/700 stock. You core memory is 25 incriments faster than mine. I don't see how 25 more incriments gives you 22 more FPS over my 8800. If that's the case then I need to return mine and get an ATi, but I highly doubt that's the case.

One last thing to keep in mind: My CPU & GPU are overclocked - CPU overclocked 10% & GPU overclocked to GTX settings: 575/900. If I wasn't overclocked, cut at least 3 - 5 frames off my screenshots. So that means I wouldn't even come close to the teens.

I'm still waiting for your reponse in your 'Landing at Boston' thread.

I think that waspiflab has tweaked his FSX.
If I can get 20 FPS on a poor 6800 GT over seattle without water nor bloom, I suppose you can get them too with a 8800, even with bloom and water !

Take a look at my shots again. I didn't even touch the teens with max water and bloom.
