Next part of Congo's Canyons!!

I hope no one gets vertigo!!

The final approach of one of the main airstrips. It looks a LOT worse from up the top. I flew it manual, no ILS... It is quite a challenge!!

Overall Congo has done an excellent job designing these canyons!! There is a lot more but I was too busy having fun to take screenies.

ah so your meant to follow those tower thing DOWN the way, think I was flying in that area today in the real air spit and I climbed to the top of those then found an airport 12000 ft almost vertically below me ::)
Had to cut the engine (left the prop winmilling for more drag), put undercarriage and flaps down and sideslip and still fly a circuit around the airfield :o ::)

It should work fine on FS2002. In fact, in FS2002, it should show up in the airport list.

It is actually a very tiny addon, the only reason it's 1.4mb is because of the included pictures, documentation and textures for my lakes and runways.

While the program I used (Flight Simulator Scenery Creator) is reasonably powerful, I don't use many of it's functions, basically, the scenery is hundreds of flat areas set at different heights and edited with multiple points into basic contours. This process, when compiled into a scenery bgl file, results in a small data size.

Regarding use in FS2002, if the default mesh is different to FS2004's, (and I believe it is), then you will see some differences around the scenery edges and possibly some slight variations within the scenery where I have left some areas blank on purpose (so the default or user mesh bleeds through to create some subtle variation within the scenery). This applies to people using addon mesh of the region as well...... multiplayer users should all be running default mesh (for this area only) or the same addon mesh if they wish to see the exact same rendering of the landscape, but I have not tested this.
