V-Bombers...

Postby F3Hadlow » Fri Jan 27, 2006 6:07 pm

Thanks to the magic of AFCAD and TTools I give you the V Bombers, the shots are a little zoomed out as three parked aircraft can be tough to fit in the frame...

Hope you like :)

:D :D Just picked out a UK airfield at random to make the AFCAD and plans for. Was too lazy to make the effort to make a proper concrete pan! :D ;)

Tremendous stuff, would look great at Duxford!

I know the Vulcan and the Victor but I can't remember what the third is called, Valient or something like that?

Wonderful selection of aircraft :)

Do you know that there is a freeware Valiant B.1 & B.2 over at AlphaSim? Also a Vulcan by Phoenix Design available here at the V.

I find both aircraft to have more realistic textures than the Mike Stone and Ito aircraft. Also, the AlphaSim B.1 is in white. The colour a Valiant should be in!

Pics and planes like these really make it easy to understand why we're so passionate and/or obsessed with aviation. Beautiful... :)

I would also encourage anyone to purchase the Phoenix Simulation Systems (PSS) (completely unrelated to Phoenix Design, which was a bit of a cheeky name ::) ). It's also available in box form from Just Flight (with a few more colour schemes and models), and a proportion of the proceeds from both PSS and JF go to the Vulcan to the Sky fund, to get XH558 airworthy again (hopefully in 2006)

PSS

XH558 - The Vulcan Operating Company (with a nice preview of the PSS Vulcan as the intro video) :)
