Another one for the Low-n-Slow brigade

Postby RollerBall » Mon Jan 23, 2006 5:32 pm

The Zlin-226 by Jiri Brozek, Jiri Chvatal, Tibor Kokai  and Jiri Masnik (otherwise known as CVA design) found over at http://flightsim.periskop.cz

If you get it, make sure to pick up the FS9 update as the model was originally for FS2002 and had to be extensively modified (animations and all that stuff) for FS2004. It's a real goodie - flies beautifully manually and has a very nice VC. And with that long nose naturally you fly from the back seat to keep the CofG in limites.

Now take a look as I take it for a spin round my old stamping ground in North Norfolk  ;)

So what are you waiting for?  :)

Thanks guys. And the 142 from the same stable (super little model, very nice textures, great little panel and VC) is also well worth a look

Very nice... but I'm still pining for a 242... still no sign of one. That lack could be the thing that gets me to finally try my hand at creating a model...
But I'd rather go flying, which is why my DL'd 142 will do for now... ;D
