That was a historic bird...though when the tried making a "super connie", I remember reading that the supercharged engines were unsafe...

I've also read that it was not uncommon for a connie to land on only three or two engines...

Wasn't that the first to introduce pressurized cabins and reverse thrust?

Certainly is a lovely aircraft, wish I'd caught it when there was one at Duxford Flying Legends. :'(
