That first one reminds me of a photo I saw.. gimme two minutes and I'll go find it. :P It's in a book I have.

edit-found it; sorry, I actually had to take a picture of it cause my scanner is busted. :P

First is great but I cannot understand how the last one didn't get into the December final. I was ready to vote for it!

Thanks for the great comments everyone! :)

I cannot understand how the last one didn't get into the December final.


I think It's becuase the judges didn't want shots to be taken from the VC.
Spitroast and Lemoncat's shots were also stunning but didn't make the finals - I think that was for the same reason. They wanted a full external view of a plane, but with some part hidden. If you examine all the finalists they all fit that criteria.

What type of plane is that in #4 I've been looking to download it but can't remeber the name of it
