I have download it and test it....sorry soui...not for me...this is a very bad made model, compared to mine its nothing. I know that my model needs some changes in its canopy....but this model is sh**t 8)

Well I'm not the expert on this one so I wouldn't know...I don't know how your model looks..Maybe you can restart your project? Too bad that it's not for you..

I must say that I have a bit of a distaste for Mr. Ito, he seems to look which payware aircraft are coming out then he releases a quick-fix aircraft with no VC and riddled with inaccuracy both visually and to do with the flight model (he put flaps on a Vulcan for nuts sake.)

I much prefer Mike Stone's work.

I can safely say that Fitter's model was way better.

I think Mr. Ito produces the planes primarily for himself, and makes no profit from them so I'm not sure why "distaste" . :)... He probably sees some new payware plane and think to himself... oh that looks nice, wish there was a freeware one, or, wow, that looks like a fun one to make.

He's produced so many models that are otherwise unavailable in freeware or at all because no one is interested in making them. Olssons F16 for example is a marvellous model with all the candy but he spent months, if not years on it. Ito churns them out, yet they're not that bad, they still must take a fair amount of time to make...

I'll be downloading it. Sure, it may not be as good as Fitter's, but I don't have the oppurtunity to try it, because like he says, he's never going to finish it. I'll fly it about, take some shots, then forget it, as with most planes. If I was in love with it I'd buy the payware...

Just my Humble Opinion ;)...

I don't have a problem with producing models that are fun but it seems he specifically targets models that are about to come out payware. All you would expect is a little professional courtesy.

I have all the respect in the world for people like Kirk Olsson who work like dogs and all for freeware, I'm sure he doesn't get near as much thanks as he deserves from people. Mike Stone at least has the courtesy not to let the releases clash.

Just my opinion.

Guess you have a point :) I don't follow things so closely...

I don't think his releases can have much impact on sales though, payware "mavens" are hardly going to bother with Ito's models as an alternative to getting the payware version...

...everyone knows what to expect from Ito, some will download, make repaints for them, grateful to have at least this version as it's the only freeware or existing at all model available of a cool plane like the Fitter, Backfire (was it?), Draken.. others will ignore them :)

I have downloaded the Ito Fitter yesterday. I tried it, and read all posts about it.

In my modest opinion, for me, is a good model. With limitations, ok, but it was freeware. Like the Tu-22M3 Backfire, its a good addon for a russian aviation enthousiast. Ok no VC, no original sound, flight dinamics perhaps not as the original, but awesome aircraft. Very thank you for share your work with us Mr. Ito.

Regards from Spain.

From my experience, most payware fliers don't even touch freeware. GoT (dutch nerd forum) flightsim section is a payware-only forum. The one guy that tried the free Tu-154 quickly reverted to his multi-buck Boeing
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur
