Odd area in Sandmann's New Mesh

Postby jordonj » Sat Jun 11, 2005 8:33 am

Thanks Omag for pointing me in the direction of this fantastic mesh.  Only one thing...

I shot these near Castlegar (CYCG) and saw this odd bit...

It disappears further up, but I thus far have only seen it in this area...

Anyone else get this?

Don't get me wrong, I love the mesh, I would just like to fix this if I can...

try placing the new mesh underneath another canada mesh you may have...or it may be you need some flatten bgl's or something...iv'e had that type of thing countless times, usually a conflict with mesh placements within the scenery folder........have a mess :) :)

I tried it near the bottom, but it still shows...

I'll play around with the order...

Hi Jeff,

please see this thread for dealing with the duplicate water and shoreline files: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az= ... 615&page=2

Actually, it looks as if you don't have any of my other files installed. That raised bit of the Columbia River is an error in the FS default files (similar issues at Revelstoke). If you install my bcablakefixv2.zip, available at FSGenesis -http://portal.fsgenesis.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=5 - those issues will disappear.

Cheers, Holger

OH!  When I installed that mesh, I first went to Revelstoke, an airport in that exact area.  I figured that the whole mesh had water problems as well, so I gave up on it!

Is it normal in other places?
