I've had this issue before, it always goes away after a re-install of my Graphics card drivers, thankfully, since I got my 6800, the problem has not reared its ugly head.

You overclocked your graphics card ? We allways get sth. like that, when we do overclock it to hard.
Try to set it a little down.

I had things like that too, would disappear hitting the alt-key. Lots of nice colours in the sky...

I fixed it by replacing the drivers by the latest from nvidia ( or ati)...

Hope this helps!

Your virtual pilot better lay off the virtual wacky tobakky! ;D

Looks like a graphics card problem, the first thing I would try is a driver reinstall if the problem becomes consistent.

I know what happened.... they must've legalized LSD in that city just before you took off.  ;D
Seriously, though, looks like you're pushing your gfx card too much. either that or it's about to die on you.

;D ;D ;D
Don't know if it will help, but I have had that happen flying out of Vancouver Intl.  It resolved itself when I restarted FS9.
It may have something to do with the flatten or exclude in my case, because it happens in a parking lot where cars dont come out in 3d but flat as a pancake, and thats exactly what it looks like, all colourful and very flat.  Anyway......
