) the time had come to leave Borglanda and continue my journey around some of the lesser known cities of Europe (what it is to be independently rich and be able to indulge myself in this way in own aircraft :) ). So on a bright, sunny but very cold Scandinavian morning I taxied Zulu X-Ray across to the Club's fuel pump to top up the tanks.
Pretty soon I was climbing out on track for my next port-of-call. The sky was bright but I knew from the en-route forecast that it would get a bit sticky as I approached my destination.

I looked down on a Winter Wonderland as I flew and I couldn't help but be reminded of the poetry of Dave/Fly2e who coined such a phrase as the title for a recent SimV screen shot contest. My, it seemed so far away as I flew through the crisp, cold air ;D

Sure enough, it wasn't to continue. The further east I flew the more murky it became and I was glad that the visibility of my aircraft had been increased so much by the tip strobes that Erik had fitted for me at Borglanda.

By the time I was in the approach the conditions had really deteriorated. Glad I'd kept my Instrument Rating current as I'd never have got permission to land at this airport without it.

Luckily, before things became too critical, the runway came into site through the clag.

And I was able to land without incident and taxy to the GA parking area in Tallinn, Estonia.
