OK, for the original idea, see clippers posts :
Low Bridge Anyone?
Low Bridge Anyone?.....Continues Here

So this is my posting, I was gonna make a mini movie and post a link, but my webspace is too full, so screenies will have to do..........

This was achieved with collision detection ON, although it took about 15 attempts :o ;D
I tried again after and....................POW!, hit the floor like a ton of bricks! ;D

I took these, just to fill up some space..........(note : Mobius already beat me to the idea for one of these shots, just with a different aircraft)

Not easy to roll that over, let alone fly it inverted... but does it really count when your tail is completely buried in the dirt? ;) Your crash detection seems to be a lot less sensitive than mine; I've been trying to repeat some stunts I did earlier, but suddenly can't pull them off with the detection on...
Image
Can somebody explain what I crashed into? I've flown thru here many times with the Jenny, but can't do it with an aircraft half the size... ???

Weird no?
I think crash detection relies somewhat on the model ::) (I have a couple of planes that DON'T crash, no matter how high I put crash detection ::))
Yet others will crash into nothing :-/ (like your SkyBaby)

Rolling it, ah yeah, that's why it took 15 attempts ;)

I'd also like to point out to M$, that is NOT a building in your shot! ;) ;D

Cheers,

Carl

P.S. - I tried to fly Under the overhang of the carrier.....................................
I won't be posting those shots in a hurry ;)

No points for the C-5 stunt, tail hit the ground, the idea is to make it real flying, you'd have crashed and burned Carl!
However the Concorde onto the carrier is nice, I did an An-225 ages back, the only problem is your starboard wing always messes with the island.....

Mark ;)

Would anyone object if I posted images of a stunt where I've turned off crash detection, but the model clearly isn't touching the obstacle (or the ground?;) ) For some reason, I can't even get the Jenny through that ferry anymore (I really did it, I swear!), and the smoke that comes w/the repaint doesn't seem to work, anyway...

You mean I gotta do it again? ::) :-/

;D

Thanks for the comment on the Concorde, I think I got a shot showing just how close the starboard wing was to the island.
I'll see if I can dig it out 8)

BTW. Touching the deck at Mach 2+, didn't do my arm any good ;)

;D

A challenge maybe, but think of this :
If you screw-up, at least no-one gets hurt (until FSPassengers is released ;D)

The Concorde moves took several attempts, it's just practice. (Ozzy will say the same thing)

I'm sure we'll see some stunts from ya soon ;)
Once you start.................................................Well look at Ozzy, 'nuff said really :-/ ;) ;D

Actually Carl I did the Concorde thing first time in FS2k2 when someone bet me I couldn't, just installed it and took off from KSFO :o
Mind you I spend as much time flying inverted as the other strange way up, so no problem ;D
Okay Rifleman managed to find a shot of us doing a formation heavy trick under the Golden Gate...
