That "Salut de St. Jovite Canada," reminds me of that deep voiced Quebecios guy
that said all that stuff after commericals and TV shows like Mr. Dressup.
I don't think he's used anymore, seeing how that was when I just a wee lad.
But that guy really creeped me out.

What kind of stuff did he say? Was it something that still haunts you as an adult? If you need help working through it,  let me know. I know some really understanding professionals! :'(

I don't know what was said, probably trademarks and publication rights.

I can't really remember, being six and all.
Must have been a thing only for us english speaking Canucks.

Come to think of it, it was only on the CBC.
Leave it up to the CBC, to scare little children.

And it doesn't haunt me as adult: nineteen is barely adult.
Besides, it was more of a funny creepy than a
"he's hiding in my closet and talking in crazy Canadien speak" creepy.

Oh, and they're nice shots.

I'm glad that's resolved ;D If you thought that guy was frightening, you should have seen "Johnny Jellybean". Saurday mornings on CBC when I was a kid. A perfect mix of Homer Simpson and Freddy Kruger...Thanks for the screenshot comments. The shots are actually a follow up to Propnut's "gotta go, gotta go". Unfortunately I forgot to make that reference, no-one understood the context of the material. C'est la vie.... :)
