Love that aircraft.., twould be much better if I knew russian and could figure out the AP, but oh well the vc is awesome  ;D

The best thing about the An-24 is indeed the autopilot. Forget everything like NAV, HDG, IAS, etc...the only thing it's able to do is holding altitude and a certain heading. Turns are made by setting the desired banking angle and that's it.

It's rate of turn, not bank angle...
You have 2 heading modes: Gyro heading (as in HDG mode) and Orthometric heading.

Update for this one is coming (no date yet...) which will correct the gyro drift and some other problems.
The best thing in this update: there will be VC's for both the An-24 and the An-26, and the obvious window error will be corrected (no window at the An-26 NAV station, where there actually is one)

That one will get a better VC... at least gauge-wise. And there is a window missing there that will be fixed

There were some discussions about the nav gauge set and the other stuff that will be put around the navigator area
