hi all,

i have fsscreen by Matthias Holzer and when i save images it saves as a bitmap image and the file sizes are between 1 and 2 mb. here we can post images under 100k i beleive. any way to change the bitmap to jpg or anyother quality that makes gud quality pics and within the limit of simviation forums? any other freeware softwares??

Any help would be very very appreciated.

One of the program you could try is PIXresizer :)

I use "screenshooter".. downloaded over a year ago, forget from where. Anyway, it usually pushes out 800x600 shots well over 100k, so I just open them in MS Paint, resize about 1% for the heck of it, then save and it drops it to under 50k.

There are several screen capture programs - such as GrabClipSave available
here , Multigrab , etc ...

These programs will allow multi captures & send them to a folder of your choice.

To reduce file sizes without any real reduction in noticeable quality open them in Irfanview & save as -

Play about a little & you'll soon find few 800 wide images need to be over 60K

I use GrabClipSave. It keeps the file sizes low (under 120K for me). I use InfranView to crop/resize the images.

I tried multigrab but it was a bit unreliable.  FSScreen and PixResizer are what I use (recommended to me by Stratobat) and I have no complaints!
