In case you didn't hear, there's a little race going on between Woody, Ben M K, and myself. We're doing the Luton to Lisbon run. Woody has a Ju-52, Ben has the Tri-Motor, and I have the Fokker. Put your money down folks!
I'm just flying over Brittany on my flight. Making about 140kts at 15,000 feet and wondering how long my fuel really will last me. If it becomes apparent that i'm not going to make it on one tank then i'll have to put a quick stop off in Spain. But here's hoping I won't have to...

I'm finding it easier to just trim this plane out than to try to use the autopilot. It uses to Vega AP and the thing is pretty much useless here... ::)
I'm flying with the trim tab. Using the autopilot's cheating.

I wouldn't consider it cheating if there was an AP on the original plane. It's just a tool. It's easy enough just to trim it out and make occasional corrections anyway...
BTW, I'm ready to concede like a Democrat... If you're doing 152 knots and I'm averaging 111, then I think you would win. Mind you, I plan on finishing, but I think the outcome is not in doubt...
Well, please remember that i've taken a bit of a detour and i'm not 100% sure my fuel is going to last. There's everything to play for.
