Some Scenery (and a little fun)

Postby jordonj » Mon Oct 18, 2004 10:15 pm

Lemoncat orginally posted this stuff over in Payware Forums, but since the scenery is freeware, I decided to post it here as well...

All this scenery is available, free of charge, at this site

To begin with, Devil's Tower (for a look at what it looks like without it, check This one out!

With this, you can even see it in the distance at WY-14!

By the way lemoncat, is the mesh to make it 3-dimensional freeware (the crater)?

For the next one, you can find it at NoNodes (also in Arizona)

In a British B-25 visiting the US in Arizona (3 years later)

Oh bloody S**T...you've done it AGAIN!!!

Aw shewt!  Now what?!  Nobody's gonna swallow the Meteor Strike story again!

We tell them we're at war!  People don't ask questions if they think we're at war!

Oh really...and just who are we at "war" with!?

The Russians?

Nobody will buy that.  The Russians may be powerful, but there's no way they could have gotten in to strike us this far inland!

Hmmm...we could say that a group of Arab extremists stole this plane and...

DON"T MAKE ME LAUGH!!!  They're barely out of the Dark Ages!  All the better to steal their oil (Heh heh)

Oh!  I know!  There's this team consisting of a Belgian Named Omag (the leader of the two) and this German named Heretic (formerly Boeingman, we suspect) who commit crazy acts of war and...

I TOLE YOU...wait a minute!  That will just might work!  I like the way you think!

Great shots  8)

I got Devils tower and its cool.  I also got he crater only its not very craterish? its flat ???  I must be doing somthing wrong.  I see the texture fine but its not hollow.  I notice in the screenshots on the site it comes from it is definately a crater.
