P38 "Lightning"!

Postby Politically Incorrect » Sun Sep 19, 2004 3:54 am

After having a hard time deciding what to enter into the contest I just picked two, but had more to share. I really never bothered to much for screenies probably because I never realized how fun it was! Here are a few more P38 Lightning shots that didn't make "my grade" but thought were too cool to just delete :)

Now does anyone know how I can resize a image for posting that won't reduce the detail so much?, it is hard to tell from these but the lightning highlighted the clouds much better than they appear here.

What are you saying I put the wrong one in the contest?!
;D ;D

Thanks!!! That lightning effect package is awesome and realistic, best improvement to the overall scenery since the water textures!!
But do you know how hard it is trying to take screenies of lightning? happens fast, I had to snap over 300 just to get these few! ::)

Could try using replay, slow it down and then take some snaps.  Lot easier than trying to get them on the fly, unless you really luv the challenge of doing that. ;D

How do you do a replay? Never knew that feature exsited!
Does sound like a easier way.
But I think doing it "my" way is more gratifing in the end, except I think I need too assign a new hot key since I have worn out my current one! :o

When in the game, hit "Alt", "Options" and "Instant Replay" (think thats what its called, or something close), it will run default for 60 seconds but you can lengthen or shorten it depending on how long you were flying.  You can also slow down the speed of the replay.
Cheers
