Sooo, I left Gillette at about 3:45 (or so)...after fueling up...

As I was taxiing to the active, I observed this 182 come in and bounce while landing (I couldn't suppress a chuckle)...

Oh goody...more fog...

I've posted images of Eastern Wyoming, so I'll not be re-hashing them here...not a bad shot of Wheatland though...

Somebody in a Piper (an Arrow III I think) got this one of me as I had just crossed over into Colorado).

They snapped another one of me over Denver Airport.

I am a bit leary of landing at Denver Airport due to both the traffic and the Denver effect. Also, my Uncle and FrontierGuy are both at Centennial (my Uncle lives in Littleton). It took me some time to get orientated with the runway (17R). I shot this during my first go-around.

My Uncle knows someone at the airport and was waiting with a camera to see me down. I came down pretty fast and yes, I bounced. A quote from Einstein came to mind...

"Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the Gods"

Well I got down okay, so maybe I got off light...
As I was getting to parking, I saw this Caravan Amphibian getting ready to go...

Now to raid some iceboxes!
