FS 2002... ;)...!

Hi Bjorn...!
Can you pop over to Point Reyes with a can of avgas, please...
I've pressed the starter button and swung the prop until I'm blue in the face, but I'm blowed if I can get the engine started... ::)...!
(Even Ctrl + E doesn't work).
The motor turns over but wont fire... :'(...!
Mixture control fully in... 8)...!
..and I'm flattening the flippin' battery... :'(...!

Are you sure you filled up the fuel tank before starting up the Cessna? ;D

I bet you havnt got theupdate for that chipmunk have u?  Well if you go get it the FS2002 *.air file is included  ;D  Now off you go to get it, you just gotta have the chippy"  

If you got the chippy from Simvy.com I believe there is an FS2002 cfg and *.air included as it is version 1.2, but if you got it from no-nodes or else where then its likely you got version 1.0 and require the update.

How about opening the throttle just a notch? Seems to work most of the time.
