Iceland.

Postby eno » Wed Mar 24, 2021 3:42 pm

I've been away from these forums for a while now but with the advent of FS2020, covid and lockdowns I am back for a while.
Whilst away I have been lucky enough to be travelling round Europe and getting paid for it too. I have taken loads of pics so may as well show them off here.
The first lot Iceland which was my last destination before the pandemic hit. I spent from the end of November 2019 to the middle of March 2020 there driving offroad coaches for tourists travelling to Europes largest icecap Vatnajokull and more specifically Falljokull glacier.

It was an amzing experience Pete although I didn't appreciate it at the time. I am hoping to go back there once this pandemic is over and finish what I started and do the whole year round there.

Made a stopover for 48 hours there once when flying back from New York to Amsterdam with Icelandair. Slept only 4-5 hours, spent the rest of my time trying to see as much of the landscape as possible. One of the best places on earth I've been. Magnificent nature and great people!

Far too cold for my old bones, Eno!
How about a nice 'Bus trip around Southern Florida, or Los Angeles, Southern California, where it's warm and cosy, at this time of the year?...
....or any time!.... ...!

Take care, all!
