Just a few local shots

Postby Rifleman » Sun May 27, 2018 8:27 pm

As some of the older members may remember me, here are a few images which I've been lucky enough to bring to "Ones and Zeros", of our area.....

Looking back to the mainland from just south of Campbell River
Image

This is from very near where I live, looking back to the mainland
Image

Sunrise from a 5 min walk from my place.....in the distance at the right of the image is where you'll find Vancouver
Image

A ghostly image of your truly with the Strait of Georgia in the distance - Vancouver just across my chest and under my chin - the mountains you see are on Vancouver Island
Image

From Comox Marina, you can see the Comox Glacier overlooking the Comox Valley
Image

Looking back at Vancouver Island from Pt Holmes, just off the end of the main runway at CFB Comox
Image

Half an hour by car, from where I live, is Mount Washington - a local ski haven......this is the view from near the main Lodge at the base of the chair lifts
Image

From Campbell River in the early morning, is this view into the mountains of Vancouver Island

Hello Rifleman, your bird photos were superb and so are your local B.C. pictures. I know the area fairly well and you really captured the beauty, nature, and peacefulness of the area. And, if you want action, Vancouver and Victoria are not too far away. Great place to live.

Truly stunning shots of stunning scenery.
You make me homesick.
Those captures should be used to
attract more visitors to Supernatural B.C.
