Finally, a beautiful Bank Holiday with wall to wall sunshine.

I travelled up to Old Warden on Sunday for the Shuttleworth Collection's first display of the season. The theme was The RAF 100th Birthday.
The show was sold out & the airfield was packed.

Here's a few of my better efforts with the camera. Could have done with a few puffy clouds in the background but I'm not complaining.

Now here's what I went for. The first display of the Collection's new Sopwith Camel. I've waited a very long time to see this.

Thanks Jim. I took these with my Canon 60D & my trusty 70-200mm f2.8 L lens plus 1.4x extender.

Outstanding Doug.........great work on this day.........I did see another post from this event, but yours are shots I wish I had taken myself !.....Very nice....

Don't think a professional could have done better ..... great to see!

Don't know how I missed these, Lovely set of shots. We are hoping to move up the line later this year to the Midlands so will be a bit closer to Old Warden, Bruntingthorpe and a few of the race circuits.
