Trucks......

Postby Rifleman » Fri Oct 13, 2017 9:47 pm

A drive to Campbell River was in order today, so I brought along the camera. I know that there are not too many folks who get to see things on floats as much as I do, so here is a little share from me to you.........

Departing with the Sun behind....

Getting the Sun in the correct place now.....

A clean one tied up and looking all shiny......

And a last one in a different location, using it's wheels but still with floats mounted.....

In the same sentence, "I'm sorry" and "you're welcome".......I knew posting these regular scenes for me would bring a bit of jealousy and past memories to a select few on here......Aviation has a history, and it's not just you who has these pangs......it's my history too. Living and growing up in Downsview gave so many memories of all the DeHavilland products. Being about 2 1/2 miles from the manufacturing plant allowed me to see test flights on a regular basis, since all things in the circuit were visible most of the time and they had access to the runways, right outside their door.

One more.....
