After hearing the arrival of this rare heli yesterday, and taking a quick run to have a look, I was informed by the pilot that he would be departing at first light in the morning. Just before sunrise seemed like a good time to get there, but with the wife and two little kids in tow, first light meant 7:30 but the actual time was a little different. Sitting before the sun showed itself, the mist was still hanging low and with nobody in sight I ventured in to get a shot or two while the drips of moisture hadn't been wiped off. By 8:45 though, it was time for cloth in hand and a quick pre-flight, then it was off into the clear blue sky and a quick trip up to the mountains......Have a nice day...!
