I know that one of the locals here can appreciate these old workhorse beasts, from the inside out.....I just happened to be in Nanaimo today, picking up an adapter for my new camera/old lens combination. As always, a trip to the Harbour Terminal was in order and what to my pleasant surprise did I see........DHC-2.....A few others were around, but this one looked like it was in service since at least last century and is still plugging away, shiny new float mounts and all......nice to see.......You`re welcome Doug.....

I have never thought of Nanaimo as "Tropical", but on just the right day....................maybe!

I love this picture!!! My two favorite things, boats and planes! (Well, trucks are my favorite but I wasn't counting that)
