It's been a while, so here I go again.
Actually, it's there I went, to the Air Mobility Command Museum in Dover, Delaware.
They have more than 30 aircraft, and every third Saturday of the month, between March and November, they have an open cockpit day.
And, yes, it is as much fun as it sounds.
You get to climb up into some pretty impressive planes, and check out the cockpits. In some all you can do is bend over a plexiglass barricade to take a picture. In others you can sit in the pilot/co-pilot seats.
Unfortunately, these are my pictures. But hopefully you'll enjoy the pictures anyway.
For now, I'll start with a few engines, and some simulators.
A Link, F-106, and T-38 sim trainer.
And a couple of training aircraft.
