But my two little chefs can now make sushi that looks good and tastes great. They did everything (with supervision and a spot of help), prepped the fish and veg, coloured sesame seeds, actually made the body, stirred, mixed, poured and laid out. I'm so proud of my little ones, they've caught the foodie bug!
And tomorrow it is sushi for breakfast, 'cos Cornflakes is for losers, apparently :-D

I hear you Anthin! I wish my teenager was about six or seven again. Much more fun at the younger age bracket.

David woke up this morning and sprinted downstairs for his "breakfast", lovin' it :-D Bless him.
Apparently we're doing it all again on Saturday night and taking a load to grandma for her to eat on Sunday. A bit more exotic than baking shortbread :-) I ache from laughing so much last night, they were so enthusiastic and loved making a mess of the kitchen. I finished cleaning up at 10pm, but it was so worth it, what a brilliant evening. I don't know how I'll top it tonight!!!

Its lovely when little ones can be encouraged to prepare and cook nice meals which are good for them....
...especially when they get so much fun and enjoyment from doing it as well!

Well done Mark...

...and Emi and little David!.... ..!

Its lovely to see!

Paul.... :D ...!

P.S...Home made Madras Curry, Basmati rice, and crinkle chips, for Supper last night.

The price of Steak, Rump or Sirloin, in my local supermarket is so expensive that it is a luxury that I rarely, if ever, purchase!

...the same goes for Lamb joints of meat.

It is a meal that only appears in my dreams!..... ....!

Paul....Mooooo..... :( ....!
