Beaky's (first) Grand Motorcycle Tour- pt 2
Posted: Wed Nov 12, 2014 8:46 pmI spent a week in NOLA on this trip; my fourth visit to that funky old city... took a few more pics.
Seasoned by my long journey, not to mention several interesting trips all over NYC in the weeks prior, I was well-prepared to moto-navigate thru the godawful narrow, congested, extremely rough streets of the Big Easy... even easier without the panniers.
Saw quite a few motorcycles in the area; from the ridiculous...
...to the sublime.
Made a few evening forays from my friend's house in Treme, on the edge of the French Quarter, into that old section, for food and libations... we even swapped bikes briefly. His BMW F650GS is pretty neat, but I love my old GL.
Next: Airpower Expo '14 at KNEW!!
