Seen last weekend. Mark might like these.

Spitfire at Goodwood on Saturday. Returning after a local display.

This beautiful Chipmunk at Popham on Sunday brought back some fond memories. This is what RAF trainers looked like in my day.

Does sir require a Keenex.....?

Lovely shots Doug. I always struggle with airborne shots. Mine always come out grey-ish....?

Wonderful shots, Doug!

The old 2-seater Spit!... :D ...!

Paul.... ...!

I have stopped going to my local Airfield (Shobdon) lately.
With all the Elf 'n Safety regulations and restrictions, with barriers everywhere, we are prevented from getting anywhere close to the Aircraft or Hangar, and can only view everything from a great distance.

..sign of the times!.... :( ...!

No Ken, but Boulton Paul did. ;) http://www.tangmere-museum.org.uk/aircraft-month/boulton-paul-balliol
Just the other day I found an old photo of a Balliol I took at Shoreham many years ago. I'll post it here when I get a chance to scan it.

Thanks Paul. Shobdon sounds like Shoreham these days. One reason I rarely visit now. The old place is not what it used to be. Thankfully there are still some airfields where enthusiats are welcome & can have a close look at the aeroplanes. You should try Popham some time, or even Goodwood during special events/fly-ins. Popham Airfield

PS. Popham is very popular with motorcyclists.
