I am sorry you had a lousy work day, but with those outside the window, I have a lot of trouble working up a LOT of sympathy for your plight! :D

Just imagine how much fun it must be, to be stuck in a stationary traffic jam, going nowhere, on the M1 motorway.....(or anywhere else!)...in one of those!.... ;) ...!

How embarrassing!... ....!

Nice to look at, tho'.... ;) ...!

Paul.... :D ...!

Three funny coloured Audi's there... Did they have the same trouble as Clarkson when trying to get fuel in? :-D

Getting fuel into them would be the least of his worried. I don't know what the octane level of the fuel was, but the exhaust, the smell was very overpowering and made me feel sick.........and I was out in the fresh air in the middle of an airfield......

The mechanics are obviously under strict orders, but they still had some fun as they drove them back up the taxiway to be put to bed. A quick blip of the throttle to get the back end to twitch or to leave a nice set of rubber marks behind...........If I was them I know I would too O0 Also There was only one test driver and he was driven off in a minibus after his hard hour of driving three Gallardo's up an down the taxiway doing acceloration tests....

I suppose, with the engine at the back, you put the shopping in the front, under the bonnet/hood?... ...!

It would be a right rigmarole trying to get it in and out of Sainsbury's car park!.... ....!

Paul....Ex Austin Allegro 1.5HL... ...!

At least with your old Allegro, being publically humiliated by getting beached on speed bumps in Sainsbury's car park is not very likely.....

I've told you Trans-Atlantic types before - it's all very well having you 9.8L V8s taking up half the chassis and using half of the Saudi oil reserves to get from 0-60, but as soon as you get to a corner you find yourselves wrapped around the nearest tree!
