Some from the weekend

So I was at Brands Hatch at the weekend armed with some magic passes to get me anywhere and as can be seen in the video forum an opportunity to be a pillion on a Fireblade with a BSB racer, meanwhile on camera...
The salesman was trying to be cute but was caught short by Emi's question on the CBR600RR "Does it come in pink?"

Meanwhile David thought it was a little bit too big for him....

Race one, lap one;

And the winner...

I'm not saying we got close but the pit-lane passes mean this isn't on zoom!
Image
The little people reckon daddy's new Blade addiction is rubbish 'cos it's too big for them!
Image
But the real high has to be David, pretending to be an Ewok on The Stalker's Kawasaki :D

Wonderful photos of the little ones, Mark!.... ....!

Looks like David was enjoying himself.....and Emi is Emi...as usual!.... ...!

If there's on thing that tightens my Sphincter Muscle to the max, its watching Motorcycle Racing on the Tele', and holding my breath at the same time....

...scary!.... :o ....!

Paul... ...!

Makes me wish I could back-pedal 20 years to my lovely 1992 black and red Honda CBR 600 FM Supersport!.... ...(Which got stolen)!

The kids are now hooked. Agi said the only good thing with the gold passes was that you didn't have to queue with the chavs to use the bog but could cross over to the pit lane and use the posh loos without queuing. She needs to learn :D

Wow, they are getting big!

Looks like a fun day- and it makes me even more itchy to start riding, myself. Still waiting for various pieces to fall into place (including a wad of cash), but I am ready to get into it. Always wanted to, and I'm not getting any younger. I'd save a lot of money on most trips, too. A friend has a time-capsule-fresh '84 BMW R65 that is still sort of for sale... I think I will look good on that, and it will keep me out of trouble while I'm learning. :D
I think I'll stay off the track, though... I don't see a "crotch rocket" in my future. I think I'll live longer if I stick to commuting and maybe "adventure touring".

There are two paths that a Motorcyclist can take, Sean...

The Captain Sensible path... :D ....

..and the Ozzy Osborne path..... :o ...!

I have always preferred the first option, leading to an extended, pain-free life!... ;) ...!

Paul... ... ...!

I've been knocked off twice in my riding career Paul, all other injuries have been down to me being dafter than a gold-plated toilet brush :D
