I wonder how many of the people on the beach had to change their undies after that..... :o

Hi Rom... :)

Wonderful catch and shot... ;)

Have had my share of viewing some of Mother Natures most beautiful sites from my rocking chair in the air many many times.

Thunderstorms, rain, hail, (you should hear the sound hail/ice makes flying off the props and hitting the side of the aircraft, sounds like someone is outside with a ball-peen hammer hitting the side of the aircraft... ;D and yes you can hear it through the headphones... :)).

Snow, wind, blowing sand, haze, heat and the glare of the sun are all part of an aviators fun and with an old hand at the controls a wonderful learning lesson... ;)

Far far too many aviators and sailors have perished because they could not read the sky or waves.
They were not properly trained or perhaps fully trained such as holding an Aviators Instrument Ticket.

To fully enjoy Flight/Sailing a person must have education, training, live long enough to gain experience and confidence.
Mother Nature can easily without a doubt prove one does not live long enough to make all the mistakes or make the same mistake twice.

If one is a weekend sailor or weekend VFR aviator then stay away from the black puffy wuffies, fly around the white puffy wuffies and when you land say a little prayer thanking Mother Nature for not sneaking up and kicking your butt.... ;D

Sorry to get so long winded again Rom... ;)

There seems to be a small bolt hitting the beach between the people. It was probably produced off the monster bolt.... :-/

Moral of the story, don't jog whilst wearing nylon underwear. The static can be scary ;D ;D ;D

Every time I look at the Members screen shots on the Forum, flying amongst the puffy-wuffies, I suspect that none of them has taken that real-life-saving advice of yours, Doug!... ;)...!

I imagine that static discharge and a bad case of gas maybe the recipe for a fairly large bolt.... ;)
