Well I had a good day today

Postby skoker » Wed Oct 05, 2011 9:32 pm

I had my first solo today!   :D

My instructor had to come to 1G3 from KAKR, so I had a few minutes to waste so I went over to my plane and preflighted and had a good photo op.

After the flight.  I took off when the sun was just barely up and by the time I had completed all my landings I could barely see the ground.

Well done and congratulations... :)

Many happy flights ahead, you have accomplished what many can only dream about and while you are up there bashing about the white puffy wuffies keep in mind...

The three most useless things to an aviator when the fan quits are:

1-the runway behind him/her
2-the fuel he/she did not load
3-the air above him/her

Now...make sure you get that homework done, those assignments handed in on time.
No going out to the pub/bar every night, no wild women (unless you call me and the moderators here to come chaperone) as we will all be watching your progress... ;)      ;D
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Congratulations! Nice pictures.
I remember my first solo in a glider. My instructor had to call me on the radio and tell me to come down again  ;D

Congratulations on the solo!  You may go out to the pub every OTHER night sans chaperone, just be sure the women aren't TOO wild. ;) 8-) :)
