Autumn colours

Heavy rain & strong winds are forecast for this week. I went out yesterday to get some photos of the Autumn colours before the pretty leaves get blown off the trees.
Here's a few shots taken in Sheffield Park, a beauty spot in East Sussex owned by the National Trust.
Not quite at its best yet but the views across the lake are breathtakingly beautiful.

Very nice Doug, very nice. Autumn colours are always a great time of year for the camera, shame that it heralds the arrival of cold wet and damp..........

Wonderful Autumn colours Doug.

It is about the same here, the old girl and I like to drive around with another couple to look at the colours.

We used to pack a picnic basket when we lived on the old homestead and float down the river admiring the Autumn colours.
They are also great to see from the air in slow flight... :)

We love the winter as there is so much to do and the first snow fall still brings the child out in many of us... ;)

Those who have never flown in the winter do not know what they are missing...it is truly a whole new world, of course so is each different season... ;)

Those are lovely photos Doug, I've spent most of the last week hairing around the Chilterns and never thought to take my camera once :-[

As always Doug, nicely done. By the way your sky shows, you have a very nice exposure latitude with your camera - I know it sometimes takes a bit in the manipulator program to get the highlights to show well. Good presentation once again !  8-)

These are great Doug, the colors are nicely balanced.  Not too loud and not too soft.  :)
