There should be something similar near every major airport receiving traffic from overseas. Good post. :)

Speaking of messages under approaches.... reminds me of this one in Vancouver... although this is not a happy message.

It's about 2 miles east of YVR, under the approach to 26R.

There was a famous farm in a part of Wales used quite a lot for RAF low level flying. On the roof...

Back on topic, nice to see. :) Even as a member of a foreign nations armed forces, it's nice when US citizens feel the need to come up and shake your hand an say "thanks". I've had it happen a couple of times - last time waiting a lift (elevator?) in DC. :)

:)  Made me smile.  Homeland support does unbelievable things to our morale after a long tour overseas, as it would for any troop serving their country.  Thanks for posting this!
