End of season fly-in

Well, that's about it for another year. Here's a few of the more unusual visitors at Popham on Sunday. Once the mist cleared it was a beautiful day for it.

First time I've seen this one. Complete with casualty on a stretcher.

Float Planes..>>

We don't have an awful lot of inland water in Britain to suit float planes, and although we are surrounded by Sea, it would appear that float planes are not happy with landing, and taking off, on the Sea?...choppy waves?... ::)...!

I've seen drawings and B&W pics of the Cub evac plane, didn't realise there were still any around.

Very nice Doug. Love the float plane. :)
[edit]I did my best to repaint the Carenado C185F in that livery but I can't upload it until the 'security issues' are ironed out.

Once again Doug, fine shots. Really like a look at a One Design which I've only seen in model form..........keep tripping that shutter release....... 8-)
