Hi Fellas, got a couple of shows coming up, and these are some of the entries i'm looking at putting in. Any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated. Be aware, that these pics have been severly compressed due to getting them below 150kb, so its not reflective of the final work

Wow, these are amazing. Can you please upload some higher quality versions (to imageshack or so) so we could see these masterpieces without all the noise?

I'd only submit the first or the last, here's why.

#2: Awesome picture, but the blown out bit of yellow to the bottom left is very distracting and takes a lot away from the photo.

#3: Dustspots, lots of em. Hop in there with a clone tool and it should be good to go. Don't even dream of entering this one, because of that one reason. Again, fantastic image.

#4:Can't really say what exactly, other then it's slightly overexposed.. I guess it just doesn't pop out as amazing to me.

#5: I like it, but compression destroyed the photo, crumpled it up, stomped on it, then compressed it again.

Cheers Mate,

#2: I was spewing that this was the only half decent shot of Mt Cook i could get, because of the amount of clouds we had. Am planning on playing with that area in photoshop and dulling it down.

#3: I know what you mean with the spots. The bulk of my wanaka airshow photos had them, and trust me it caused me no end of frustration. Am going to give this one a good going over.

#4: Will play with the levels in this one and see what i can do.

#5: Yes this was the one that compression really hurt. The original picture was beautiful. I looked over and saw him sitting there on the bench, in such a way that it was like he was waiting for his sweetheart.

By no means are these the entered products. Have two weeks until then. And yes it is a judged contest. Thanks for your feedback. It was truly appreciated

Sounds good!

I know what its like with Dust spots. I got a beautiful shot of a P-51C, crystal clear, sharp, beautiful prop arc (which is hard with P-51's) and just overall well composed. Unfortunately it had been awhile since I gave my camera a good dusting and the spots destroyed the image. No amount of clone stamping could have helped  >:(
