Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Pensacola FL areas
I went on vacation last month to the Gulf of Mexico on the Florida/Alabama border last month, as I do every year. You may already know this from my Water Spout thread.
Here's some more shots, more focused on the clean up efforts that were happening there. I do not envy these workers, it was 105F heat index with 93% humidity. I was dying in my board shorts with no shirt and a cold beer, and these guys were out there in HAZMAT suits. Kudos to them for their hard work!!
I know the boat is blurry, I tried to focus on it for you, but for some reason the focus shifted

Not a single person paid attention to this warning, we were ALL in the water, sometimes until the sun came back up 8-)

Tar Balls. The big one is about 1 inch across. They were barely noticeable in the sand. Still fun to say Tar Balls though. Say it. Tar Balls.
