Landscapes around Perth

Get back into the swing of things with a few photos i took recently around Perth.

Midnight on the tourist drive. Lights from Perth illuminating the rocks, camera is looking south.

Wanneroo Library. This photo was used in the official Master Builders Association book which was released to all the building companies

Burns Beach. Trying out a new ND filter. Didnt realise until later that there was a lot of crud on the sensor.

That first shot is just awesome. The architecture in #2 is as well. And the colors in #3 are beautiful, crud and all. But what's up with the parachute just above the horizion on the right edge? The last two are just stunning. Thanks for sharing. :)

Didnt realise until later that there was a lot of crud on the sensor.

You can remove that with a little work in a graphics editor.

....and there's me thinking that Western Australia is just a desolate, sand-covered place!

(Maybe that's further inland?).

Sure it may be desolate and sand covered, but just look around, and you will always find something truly beautiful in western australia.

number 1 was 180seconds at F5

number three was 30seconds at f22
